We Build Power Where It's Needed Most
ePhoton started with a simple observation: the world doesn't have a solar problem — it has an infrastructure problem.
Who We Are
Communities wait years for grid connections. Enterprises pay premium rates for unreliable power. Billions sit locked in projects that can't break ground because the grid can't keep up.
We decided to do something about it.
ePhoton is a UK-based energy-as-a-service company. We finance, build, own, and operate distributed clean power on existing infrastructure, including street poles, telecom towers, and campus assets. You pay per kWh, below your grid tariff. We do the rest.
No land acquisition. No grid delays. No waiting.
Our technology platforms T.I.P.A. Rosette™, T.I.P.A. Stack™, Nano-Optimisers™, and Thinverters™ are protected by a family of patents and engineered for one goal: more power from less infrastructure.

Solar panels have never been cheaper. Yet energy remains expensive and inaccessible. Why?
Because the real cost isn't the panels. It's the land that needs purchasing. The kilometres of high-voltage cable. The substations requiring years of permitting. The distribution losses. And above all time. Traditional solar takes 18 to 36 months to deliver power.
The grid has become a bottleneck. Demand accelerates EVs, data centres, AI, basic electrification while grid expansion crawls.
We asked a different question:
what if we stopped waiting for the grid?

Why ePhoton
A better way to deploy solar with higher density, lower cost, and faster returns.
01
More Power From Every Pole
Our T.I.P.A. technology captures sunlight from multiple angles — sunrise to sunset — not just peak hours. More energy from the same footprint. Better economics for every project.
02
Lower Costs, Faster Returns
No land parcels. No transmission lines. No substations. No trenching. That's where most capital goes in conventional solar. We skip it entirely.
03
Months, Not Years
We attach to existing infrastructure and connect to local networks. No waiting for grid capacity or permitting battles.
04
Grid-Optional by Design
Our systems work with local storage, on-site consumption, or grid integration. Projects proceed regardless of grid constraints.

Our Approach
Our philosophy is simple: don't build new infrastructure when you can use what's already there.
Cities have street poles. Rural areas have distribution networks. Telecom towers are everywhere. Industrial yards have lighting systems.
All already permitted. Already installed. Already connected. Just not generating power.
ePhoton changes that.
We deploy our photon harvesting systems directly onto existing structures vertically, efficiently, and without the delays that plague ground-mounted solar. The result is immediate power generation with minimal planning friction and zero land requirements.
Identify infrastructure → Attach systems → Power flows immediately → Scale pole-by-pole → Grid connect later (if needed)
How We Deploy
First, we identify suitable infrastructure — poles, towers, or lighting networks with the right characteristics and grid proximity.
Then, we attach our systems. Because we're working with existing structures and low-voltage connections, this happens quickly and with minimal disruption.
Power flows almost immediately. No waiting for substations. No waiting for grid upgrades. No waiting.
From there, we scale incrementally — pole by pole, site by site — expanding capacity in line with demand and available capital.
And if grid connection becomes available or desirable later? We can integrate. But we don't have to.
This approach is designed to be finance-friendly and politically resilient. Projects can start small and grow. Capital isn't locked up waiting for grid approvals. And communities see benefits from day one.
